Social dancing differs from performance dance as its primary focus is on participation and social interaction. At MAVERICKS, our new "Swing Things" social dancing club aims to encourage individuals of all ages and skill levels to engage in a fun, social way of staying active through dance.

We organize themed events and social evenings, specializing in solo swing-themed dance genres and their variations. These dance sessions do not require dance partners as we dance together in groups, exploring styles such as Neo Swing, Swing House, Charleston, Solo Jazz, and House Dance.

 Dance Fitness (DanceFIT for short) is a great way to blend exercise with learning a new skill! Join us for DanceFIT classes on TUESDAY evenings at 7:30 PM and FRIDAYS at 6:00 PM, held on selected evenings each month.

In these classes, we move to music and explore fundamental steps of solo dance styles to build your freestyle dancing abilities. It's all about connecting with the music, personal expression, and embracing the joy of movement and dance.

We rotate themes and dance styles each season, preparing you for our social evenings hosted by the "Swing Things" social dance club.
